What is Flovent?

Flovent is an inhaled medication used to control and prevent the symptoms of asthma including shortness of breath and wheezing by reducing swelling and inflammation of the lung airways. Fluticasone is a corticosteroid and should be used regularly in order to be effective. Flovent is not a rescue inhaler and should not be used to relieve sudden asthma attacks.

Always read the medication information and instructions before using this medication.
Always follow your doctor’s directions.

  • Flovent is typically taken two times a day, in the morning and the evening.
  • Shake your inhaler well for five seconds before using.
  • If this is your first time using Flovent, or if your inhaler has not been used in over a week, prime your inhaler by spraying it away from your face.
  • Wait at least 30 seconds between inhalations of this inhaler or of other inhalers.
  • After every use of Flovent, rinse your mouth with water without swallowing.
  • Fluticasone should be used at evenly spaced times. Try to use this inhaler at the same time each day.
  • It may take two weeks before you feel the full effects of Flovent.
  • Young children may get better results using a spacer device and face mask.

I like the phone call reminders. The phone reps are excellent. The pricing is also great saving me $450 per every 3 months versus local pricing. Shipping time from Turkey is very reasonable. So, brand name meds at 1/3 the cost, delivered by mail, really doesn't get any better. I do recommend Canada Meds to all my friends.

Excellent customer service. Excellent prices. I wouldn't be able to afford some of my prescriptions if I didn't receive them from Canada Meds United, even using insurance. They stay on top of my refills and call me well in advance to remind me to refill. Better customer service than I receive from my local pharmacy.

I was so delightfully surprised when your representative called me to see if I wanted to refill my prescription. It was on my "to do" list, and you and your staff member made it so very easy. Thank you for providing this alternative to the bizarre pharmaceutical/political situation in the U.S. Be assured that I do not take Canada Meds for granted. I am going to make it a point to tell more people about you, including my doctors for referrals to their patients.
